Tiny Ninjas: Heroes is a 1-2 player dice rolling and hand management game in the solo mode of which you fight against zombie ninjas. It will launch on Kickstarter on April 28.
Your team consists of five ninjas with a ninja hero among them. To begin the game, you place each ninja card in front of you, with their die set to their health points, then place each ninja die on their starting position on the board. You also take four shield dice and place one on the board behind the ninjas. Fights take place on the game box: the box lid is used as a board, and the other side of the box serves as a dice tray.
On every turn, you first gain one energy and draw an item from the item deck. Then, you move a ninja and perform up to 3 actions: either buy a shield, or play an item, or discard two items for one energy, or use one of your support abilities. Then, you can attack by rolling a die and activating one of your attack abilities.
When playing solo, you will be facing waves of zombies and trying to survive as many rounds as possible.
No, we don't ask for review copies. We like to remain independent and I personally don't feel comfortable to ask for free games. Designers have reached to us a couple of times and sent us PnPs.
Is it too humble or have you simply not asked? Publishers won't send to you if you don't ask. Facing endless hordes is fun in video games I wonder how it translates into a dice game. It's cute, I might consider it.
Thank you both for the kind words! It makes us very happy to hear!
I discovered SoTs.net recently and I'm so pleased w/ Sots' news, I'm here everyday, checking out new games. Keep up the good work (:
Best site for solo game news. I visit here more than board game geek. Saves me from wasting time on multiplayer games. Who wants to play with people....eewww gross.
