The lightweight kingdom of Ni No Kuni II
Since I'm not knowledgeable on anime matters, if someone told me that Ni No Kuni is the new sushi restaurant down the street, I would believe it. But if you are not anything like me, you may already know that Ni No Kuni is a popular video game, and its sequel, Ni No Kuni II, is about 'a young king who was usurped from his castle and sets out to build a new kingdom' (Wikipedia).
Ni No Kuni II: The board game is a cooperative, 1-4 player game by Steamforged Games aimed at a younger audience, so deep strategic thought is not to be expected. If you use your magical abilities, the assistance of the 'Higgledies', and the force of the dice rolls, thy kingdom will come.
The company has not yet given an exact retail release date, but it is in their immediate plans.
Update: Release date is November 8.
