Relics of Rajavihara is a solitaire sliding blocks puzzle set in a Tomb Raider-inspired temple. It will launch on Kickstarter on July 7.
In Relics of Rajavihara you play as the adventurer Virginia Rivers. You have discovered the ancient temple of Rajavihara and intend to donate its treasures to a museum. However, professor Montalo is there as well... and he is not a humanitarian.
The game consists of rooms that you have to solve before you can progress to the next level. There are 50 levels in total, with 5 floors each. You follow the setup instructions of the floor you wish to play, and try to achieve the given goal (e.g. get the gem). The blocks that you place on the board represent Crates, Stone, Ice, Fire, and Water.
Each of them has different characteristics: Crates can be pushed in any direction. Stones cannot be moved. Ice, when pushed, slides as far as possible. You cannot stand on Fire, but you can destroy Crates and Ice if you push them into it. You cannot stand on Water either, but it extinguishes Fire. Bearing these restrictions and abilities in mind, you have to figure out which blocks to push and in what order to complete the objective.
