Endless Winter: Paleoamericans is a 1-4 player worker placement and deck building game in which you guide and develop your tribe in Paleolithic North America. It will launch on Kickstarter on October 27.

In Endless Winter, you start out with a small group of hunter-gatherers and, over the course of the game, build settlements, develop culture, grow your population and expand your territory. The game lasts for 4 rounds. In the solo mode, you compete against another tribe AI.

You start the game with a hand of 9 tribe cards. On each turn, you can send your workers to the Initiate, Develop, Migrate, Hunt, or Prepare for an Eclipse action spaces. To perform these actions, you have to pay with 'Labour' from the cards in your hand. The first player who places a worker in a spot gets the associated bonus. The Initiate action allows you to take more members in (shamans, elders, hunters, crafters), while the Develop action is for cultural development (fire, body painting, funeral pyres etc.). When you gain a new card, it goes directly into your hand so it can be immediately used if you wish.

The main board consists of hex tiles of different terrain types. Each terrain gives you different resources (food, tools, stone, idols). With the Migrate action, you can move your tribe on the map and build settlements. The game offers many chances of gathering victory points, and the player with the most points at the end, wins. Details on the solo mode will be revealed when the campaign goes live.
