Enchanters: East Quest is live (Enchanters in the Far East)
Update: Enchanters: East Quest is live on Kickstarter, and the campaign will run for 10 days. East Quest includes six new Kingdom decks, one Village deck and one Quest deck plus a Kickstarter exclusive Mythic deck of powerful monsters. The pledge tiers allow you to acquire as much Enchanters content as your wallet can take.
Our preview post below was published on February 1.
A new, soloable expansion for the 2-4 player card drafting game Enchanters is coming to Kickstarter on February 4.
Gindi, the company behind the Enchanters series, is now partnering up with Mythic Games, and together they will launch a campaign for Enchanters: East Quest. All previous Enchanters games will be available in the Kickstarter, either as bundles or as separate add-ons for you to customize your pledge with. You may check the Kickstarter Preview.
The East Quest expansion adds Quests to the game: now players will have extra objectives to work on, such as slaying a dragon or forging an ancient sword. The original Enchanters pitted players against each other, as they picked up artifacts and enchantment cards in order to beat more enemies than their opponents. When Enchanters: Overlords came out, it introduced a solo and cooperative mode, in which players would try to defeat the Overlord before the collective deck of cards ran out. It is assumed that similar solo/co-op rules will apply to Enchanters: East Quest too.
Rahdo has filmed a co-op playthrough for Enchanters: Overlords, so you can get an idea how the system works.
Thank you! Please make it clear when you launch the campaign. :)
Enchanters is game modular in it nature - I don't know if all content will work with Coop/Solo yet, but it rather should be. :)
