Lawklivya: Vengeance is a 1-4 player cooperative game in which a team of heroes is trying to defend their castle from attacking enemies. It will launch on Kickstarter on February 16.
In Lawklivya, you will first seed the main board with a number of resources: stone, wood, and meat. Each player castle is close to a different map area, so they receive a different type of starting resources. Then, you will shuffle the main deck and draw one card. These cards either give you bonuses (e.g. dice re-rolls) or an enemy ambush. In the next phase, you will send your 4 workers on the map to gather resources or recruit more workers. The resources you gathered can be spent to upgrade a worker into a warrior, upgrade a warrior into a hero, upgrade the castle, or turn a worker into a scout so that you can look ahead in the main deck.
When an enemy shows up, you will place your warriors in the castle entrance, or the walls if they are archers. Some warriors will have weapons, others may be unarmed. You will take the dice that match your weapons or fists, and roll them. The enemy gets his own dice too. If your roll surpasses the enemy's health, you defeat them. If the enemy rolls a kill, they take out one of your warriors. You will repeat this process in Chapter 2, and then move on to Chapter 3 where you have to face the boss on the back side of the board.
The boss will roll his dice and deal damage to any castle upgrades first. You will then take your surviving warriors and place them on the boss board. A dice rolling match between warriors and boss will occur, and whichever side survives, wins the game.
Anytime, Zerbique!
