Eila and Something Shiny is live (Bunny loves Shiny)

Update: Eila and Something Shiny is live on Kickstarter and the campaign will run for 35 days. You may back to get a copy of Eila (and snatch the early bird discount, if you're quick) or go all-in, and get the game, the playmat, the plushie, two tiny plushies, an art pack and a sticker set.

Our preview post below was published on June 7.

Eila and Something Shiny is a solo (with a 2-3 player co-op variant) hand management game starring an adventuring rabbit. It will launch on Kickstarter on June 12.

In Eila, you follow the journey of a rabbit who has seen something shiny in the hills, and leaves the forest to find out what it is. The game consists of 5 chapters, and the decisions you make in one chapter carry over to the next one. After you separate the Event cards, Item cards, and Habit cards, on each turn, you are going to draw one Event card and resolve it. The card will give you a choice, e.g. do you want to gain a carrot or flip a new card? After you decide, you have to place the card either in the future or the past spot. If it is placed in the future, it will show up again later. If in the past, it gave you its bonus and you are not going to see it again.

You will continue in this manner, gathering resources along the way. When the Event deck is depleted, you will enter the night phase, and spend some of the resources you gained during the day. Then, you shuffle the cards you placed in the future and start over again. When you complete the objective of the chapter, you proceed to the next one.

During the campaign you will of course be able to buy Eila the plushie. You may check the Kickstarter preview (the preview will be removed a few days before launch).
