6 Castles

Set in the 12th century in the Iberian Peninsula, 6 Castles refers to a line of Portuguese castles built as defense against the kingdom of Leon. 'The players are representatives of the king seeking to promote agriculture, free trade, religious faith and wealth for the nobles of the kingdom'.

It is a 1-4 player tile-laying game, to be released at this year's Essen Spiel.
