Back in April 2020, in the midst of Corona crisis, I helped my son making his second homemade PnP game: Mini Rogue.
He liked it. So we decided to back a Kickstarter. Finally, yesterday the package arrived. Unlike the PnP, reimplementation supports 1-2 players. I'm already invited. 😀
Life tried to get in between, but I managed to play it two times. Due to (depending on the number of expansions) 20+ Room cards, 5+ Bosses and 5+ Character cards it offers much more replayability than PnP version (which had only 9 Room cards and no characters).
Various playable characters with different stats and special abilities are a real improvement. Second is, of course, the quality of components. Especially Kickstarter's ones.
On the other hand, the game itself feels the same as in PvP version. Which, in turn is another good news: it's easy and free to try whether you'd like it. Just print, cut and play the PnP version. If you like it, you'll love the new implementation.
Today I hope for some cooperative delving.
