This was delivered this morning. 197 cards, including the Secret Pack, which they say to only open if all wizard's survive the dungeon. The company, Zafty Games seems to have dissolved, so in the unlikely event you want a copy, you may wanna hurry. I got mine here for $4.99/€4.12/C$6.07. Shipping was $7.92/€6.54/C$9.64 for me. Box is about 8.2"x4.6"x1.4" / 20.8cm x 11.7cm x 3.6cm. It's the stand-alone sequel & expansion to Pixel Glory!
I included the dimensions, since many of us are runnin' outta space. 🙁
Three fun tidbits on that one:
Fun tidbit #1: this game was initially a campaign launched by Zafty games. When Zafty games collapsed, the game was apparently lost. Except Deep Water games re-acquired all of the Zafty games stock, and fulfilled the ongoing Kickstarters (Crystallo, Starving Artists). Backers of Pixel Legends were left in disarray. But in January of this year, Deep Water games said they received a stock of Pixel Legends and would fulfill what they could!
Except, a few months later, these games were on sale on their website, heavily discounted, and the backers did not receive anything -not even another update. So these are the games that got produced with the KS money! (And yes, I'm one of the backers. But I'm not too bitter about it as I played the game in the meanwhile and found it more than lacking.)
Fun tidbit #2: the first KS game I ever received (not the first one I backed) was a game from Zafty! It was called Somnium: Rise of Laputa. I mostly backed it because there was Laputa in the title. The Miyazaki movie is one of my dear favorites (but still far behind Princess Mononoke, my #1 movie of all times).
Fun tidbit #3: to this day, this game is still yet to be played.
