Nanga Parbat

No one - I'm planning ahead. 😄 I actually joined 2 clubs/organizations this month and hope to 'recruit' a player. Between the 2 clubs I think there's close to 2400 members, so hopefully I can find a gamer or two. I've made many acquaintances and am already shaking hands with the guys and hugging the women when greeting them (not all of 'em, of course). There's a younger group (late 30's range) that plays party games while getting drunk (I think), but I'll probably pass on that gang, if I would even be accepted. I struck a deal with who appears to be the 'ring-leader', though. She and her "crew" loved my Sausage, Meatball & Mac Cajun Alfredo and wanted the recipe. The following week I appeared with my recipe (in a sheet protector). I told her I'd give her the recipe if she'd act as if she liked me - for 2 months. She hummed & hawed, "I dunno, 2 months is kind of a long time." I said, "Okay, how 'bout just 1, then?" - She agreed. 🙂 I'm digressing, but I've joined these groups and hopefully my quest for a new Gamin' Pal will be fruitful. Plus, as opposed to a Meetup or something, I can get to know someone before I even suggest gamin' with 'em. A friendly and compatible person comes first, then the gamin'. Good luck, Self!
