I couldn't resist picking this up today locally. It's basically brand new. Got it for $15. Of course, I'm a sucker for nature themed games, but honestly this was just on my "thinking about it list". I've seen it, but have never really given it much attention. When I saw the deal, I looked into it further and thought it'd be a fun game, and a fun family game at that.
There's a simple solo fan variant on BGG in the forums. I gave it a shot to help me learn the game, and get it figured out a bit before we try it as a family later. My reactions....
*It's a very nice looking game - colourful and beautiful artwork
*At it's core, it comes across simplistic
*Once you get into it you realize - wow, this is a tough puzzle-type game that could swing in multiple directions at any time. LOL
A good find and purchase in my books.
Will do. I've tried one already, but would like to play it again along with the others to get some final thoughts. Especially now that I know what I'm doing more so. LOL
