On BGG you find all sorts of (solo) design contests. 18 cards, 9 cards, 1 card, roll & write, you name a mechanism and there's probably a design contest for it. It's a nice initiative for aspiring game designers to share their work with a broader audience. A good example is 9-card Orchard that eventually reached a large audience and got printed.
I stumbled upon Jekyll / Hyde by accident, as part of the 2020 1-Card game contest, which to my surprise is designed by Tom Lehmann (Mr. Race for the Galaxy, Jump Drive, Res Arcana, 1846, need I continue?).
I've played it around 10 times now and really enjoy it. For a 1-card game, the amount of depth is limited of course and it being a Yahtzee style game, it's keeping me engaged. I'm especially surprised how the theme, the back and forth transformation between Jekyll and Hyde, are embedded into the game mechanics.
You don't actually need the 1 card (plus 1 card overview) that comprise the game. The bare minimum is some medium (paper and pencil, computer...) where you can keep track of 4 numbers, 12 dice and the rules PDF. Give it a try, maybe you'll like it.
Okay, PnP operation completed! Since it's goin' into my "PnP" notebook (I recently took the PnP's outta my "Book of Games" notebook (it was too full) and put 'em in their own notebook), I put together this 'cover sheet' for it.

P.S. I think I'm gonna redesign the cover for the PnP notebook.
A one-card game? 🤔 That's interesting. What I also found interesting was that there was a low-ink version. I dunno, for a 1-card game...? 🙂

I'm gonna try it. Thanks for the tip, Wouter. 😀
P.S. I like those dice. 😍
I actually "purchased" it (the PnP, that is) from Philibert a few months ago, but as all PnP, it stayed somewhere in the virtual limbo.
I'm glad to hear it's fun!
