Solo Scythe

The Fenris campaign is not linear so it can be played again with different things happening, although to be honest the differences are rather subtle and don't change the whole campaign. I plan on playing the campaign again even though I know the story (which is very good).

However, the campaign unlocks different "modules and components, some quite significant" (I have to be vague to avoid spoilers). These elements can then be used in non-campaign games and I certainly plan on using some of them.

For me it is certainly worth it, but then again I also have the modular board and a pimped-out version from the KS.

Coming back to Wind Gambit, the thing that left a sour taste in my mouth (enough to not play with it again) was one of the abilities of the Warships (they are drawn randomly each game) to evacuate troops (or workers) from a lost battle. A friend I was playing against used it to incite a battle, lose it on purpose to have his units move to a space further on the map. I thought that was gaming the system a bit. And felt unthematic.
