I haven't had much time to get the "big boys" out to the table. Not for lack of desire for sure. I have campaigns happening between Scythe: Rise of Fenris and Gloomhaven that I just want to get back to!! However, as I mentioned to Athena in an email, time may not be on my side the next month or two for those games (although you never know).
I've been getting out the smaller ones though, and having a blast as always. 😎
Today I saved the world, twice... What'd you do today!? 🤣 I played two rounds of the official solo mode for Pandemic, and saved everyone (you're welcome) both times! I've never done that before! Granted I'm still playing the "easy difficulty" (i.e. four epidemic cards) I'm still happy.
Who wouldn't be when they did something on that grand of scale!? 🤣 TWICE need I remind you!!!
Then I decided to try to save the world in another way; during WWII and D-Day. Specifically at Omaha Beach.
I have yet to beat this mission (#2). My first game, my troops didn't make it past sector 5 (middle-right). Game two however, I made it the furthest yet in my attempts which was the last sector before the bunker itself! So that's promising.
The dice were on my side (most of) that game. 😃
But after all that fighting (viruses and the enemy soliders), I'm famished! Time for dinner! 😁
Derek, you saved the world twice in one day? Time to become an Avenger!
I like Pandemic a lot. Omaha Beach reminds me of D-Day Dice, which I also like.
You do look hungry. 😄
