Resetting for the new year

I started the year with a 3,5 hours session of resetting my Aeon's End Legacy games 🥵 But, they're ready for new (or rather, exactly the same) adventures in 2023!

Aeon's End: Legacy (the first one, not Legacy of Gravehold) is among my favourite games of all time. I know people say it's simple, but so am I 🤷‍♂️ Also, when I started playing again, I noticed there's an "increased difficulty" setting. Where the nemesis suddenly has 90 life instead of 40, or unleashes twice as fast. I must say, it keeps me on my toes. I definitely lose more sessions now. But the wins are very, very sweet.

So is Legacy of Gravehold your second favorite game of all time?

You'd think so 😄 but I didn't enjoy it at all. I played it with my wife, but we quit. I plan to go through it solo some time this year, to decide if I want to keep the mages, nemesis and cards to mix and match with older boxes. Otherwise, it will leave the house.
