On the Rocks

1-4 Players. BGG Link here. Well, here's the Solo setup. For now, you can call me Mixer (short for Mixologist 🙂) Mike. Sadly for some, the Solo 'winning condition' is BYOS. Nice touch: the dice have an ice cube 'color'. I'll let ya know what I think of it (I'll be brief and unhelpful, as usual 🙂) in the not-too-distant future.

I was disappointed as well, Derek. The BYOS didn't bother me as much as this rule: "If you draft a Spill Marble, it must be placed onto your Player Board until it is removed by the Premium Marble ability", and if you're unable to complete a Drink Recipe before the end of a round due to a Spill Marble blocking its completion, it's GAME OVER. There are only 3 Premium Marbles (gold in color) out of 85 others (some will be in play), so your chances of drawing that gold one are slim, but it's the only way to mitigate a spill that blocks you. All long-shot luck there. 🙁 I think it'd be a decent multi-player game, and a good Family or Gateway Game, as it's light and easy to learn.
