I had played the print and play Sprawlopolis three times, over two years ago, and I did not enjoy it. But this is the month of giving games (or myself) new chances. So I played it twice. I still did not enjoy it. It is too brainy for me. Where is the fun in thinking anyway? I never understood.
I was ready to pick it up and put all toys back in their original position, when I noticed that my daughter had been watching me. "Do that again." "I don't like it, sorry, no." "Maybe I can play it. By myself."
It found a new owner.
Obligatory May limerick:
Something dark through the neighbourhood seeps
It feeds while the city still sleeps
It crawls and it sprawls
Through the halls and the malls
And frankly it gives me the creeps
Oooooh, spooky. 👻 Best change the mood.
"Where is the fun in thinking anyway?" 😄 I thought, "It found a new owner" was a happy ending.
Damn, JW, that Limerick you made-up was pretty impressive. May I 'forward' it (maybe just before Halloween)? I probably won't say I was the creative force behind it, 'probably' being the suspicious word. 😉
P.S. Wow, my older daughter has 40 years on yours. Shit, I'm slowly becoming ancient. When I was a teenager, I never once (to the best of my limited recollection) thought about being a Senior Citizen. As I recall, I was immortal then. LOL!
