Before my final coaching call with my clients yesterday evening, I tried my luck at saving the world with Under Falling Skies some more. It went about this well for me ⬇️ ....
After work and dinner, I decided to bring Everdell to the table to take on "Rugwort the Rascal" (year 1). Despite Rugwort trying to play me for a fool... by giving me, the Fool...
I won my first win against him!!! Woo!!! 😎 I felt pretty good about myself, so I decided to play another game. Not my best idea. He got me in game 2 pretty good. 🤣 Regardless, it was a fun time spent under the Evertree. 😀
Then (...can you tell Shawna and the kids were at yoga?? 🤣), I went back to trying to save the world. 🙄 Another "brilliant" idea of mine. Now that I have the hang of it (minus the whole winning thing), I decided to mix things up a bit and play with a different city setup. I still chose the "easy" threat level, but with Washington DC instead of Roswell. Also meaning my first experience with robots (thanks to @Gloomknight 's suggestion). 😊 It was nice to play with a different setup and use the robots for some new added options, however....
When you only have one more hit left that you can handle damage wise...
AND the Mother Ship is one turn away from reaching the critical point...
AND you're facing some pissed off aliens as seen in the pic ⬆️ .....
I had fun nonetheless. 😉
That first picture of Derek falling flat on his face had me rolling! 😁 At least he died trying!
Skipped Yoga, huh? Well, saving the world is somewhat more important. "Now that I have the hang of it (minus the whole winning thing)..." - good one! My question is, why in Hell would ya wanna save Washington, D.C.? Most of the people that work there are nothing more than self-serving, scumbag liars. 😄
