I played this tonight and enjoyed it. It was reminiscent of my scouting days. Well, not really. I was a Cub Scout (not Boy Scout) for about a month, but I had to quit 'cause I couldn't afford the dime-a-week dues. But, nevertheless, I understand the fundamentals of scouting.
In this game you move around the camp area and gain merit badges, etc., to sum it up.
This game is not only 'family friendly', but it's a decent light-middle weight game (IMHO), with a Solo Mode that requires you to meet some goals, before your time (deck of cards) runs out.
Here's the game setup, ready to begin. For 'display' purposes, there's a few components shown that wouldn't be used in the Solo Mode. In the lower-left corner, there's a circular thing that says, "Camp Pinetop" in the middle. That's a high-quality embroidered patch, suitable for sewing onto your best tuxedo or evening gown.
Miraculously, I ended-up winning.
That sounds cool! It's going on the list!
Well done, Mike, you sure earned that scouting badge of honour. 😀
