WolfWalkers: The Board Game
I missed this cartoon in theaters because of the pandemic, so I'm glad I might be able to catch up with the board game!
The game is not listed as solo on BGG but you can play it multi-handed and actually, one of the "achievements" you may try to fulfill is to win the game by playing it solo. It's a set-collection game in which you run around a board to get tiles, hoping to get three "wolf" tiles of a matching color. But you may also reveal "soldier" tiles that moves the soldier pawn (which is likely to be bad, but I can't figure much more about the rules than what is given in the BGG and dedicated website description).
Mio: The Board Game
Have you ever heard of Mio, My Son, a classics of the swedish children literature, telling the adventures of Mio, heir of a faƫrie kingdom that mut defeat the evil Knight threatening it? I hadn't, but it does look like a nice book, and it heavily draws inspiration from traditional folk tales. Anyway, it will be granted its own, soloable board game.
A big caveat though: despite being multilingual and available in no less than four languages, English is not one of them. However, I do hope that "multilingual" entails "language independent components" so that a non-official English translation will pop up in the BGG files...
I hope Mio comes out in English. The board reminds me a little bit of Tokaido (but with completely different art (obviously)).
