ALIEN: Fate of the Nostromo was announced a couple of days ago by Eric Martin on BGG. This is a 1-5 player cooperative game by Ravensburger, scheduled for a retail release in August. It comes with 6 minis: the 5 well-known characters from the Alien movie, and an Alien which, as a BGG member said, appears to be tiptoeing behind them, to give them a little scare.
Gameplay revolves around objectives and missions that the players have to carry out in order to win. On each round, they will search the Nostromo for scrap and useful items, and then draw an Encounter card. Encounter cards move the Alien through the halls, and if it ever enters a room with a crew member, the crew morale goes down and that member has to flee.
Unlike Aliens: Another Glorious Day in the Corps, there is no burning down the alien with your incinerator - unfortunately. On the plus side, you won't have to assemble the minis, and the MSRP is rumoured to be around 35 dollars.
That tip-toeing alien makes me think of Taco - Puttin on the Ritz for some reason.
