At last! I will be able to play femshep in a board game! Mass Effect: Priority Hagalaz (1-4 players) is a cooperative story driven game, designed by Eric Lang and Calvin Wong Tze Loon. Apparently it won't have a crowdfunding campaign, but regular distribution by Asmodee, later this year.
I have no idea what Wrex is doing in the game though. I'm pretty sure I killed him in all my playthroughs. And when I didn't, Ash did. Where is Ashley anyway? Questions, questions.
None of these are answered on the Modiphius website.
We have heard more about it and there are two bits of news (highlighted below) that made me excited for it:
"- Release date is Q4 2024
- Price is “well under $100”
- Translations: unknown for now, probably?
- For info on pre-orders go to https://www.modiphius.net/pages/mass-effect-signup
- There are currently no plans for a collector’s edition vs standard edition
- It is not crowdfunded, the game is direct to retail"
Solo is multi-handed. The game is meant to be accessible to a large audience.
Ok so the million dollar question: What’s the fascination with Femshep that everyone has? Is it her voice-acting? I always tend to pick male Shepard while tweaking up his face so it looks more like mine. Then I play a quarter into ME1 and never finish it. I’ve done this at least twice already. I would really like experience all three games at some point.
When I saw this I immediately thought about you - you've been lusting after a Mass Effect board game for so long! But will it be the one? Or is it bound to disappoint you ultimately?
