Do you think it'll be less massive than Sleeping Gods? SG appeared to be a bit of a table-hog (although it was on my Wish List for over a year).
Speakin' of table-hogs, I saw your Post on BGG about "games to play on the train". When I saw the Subject, I thought it might be from you, and sure enough it was. It generated a lot of suggestions. Any good ones, in your opinion?
Have any other train passengers ever shown any interest in a game you were playing?
I'm that annoying stranger that might start talkin' to ya. A few years back I started talkin' with Jim about his car. He was nice. His girlfriend was sittin' at a nearby park bench smokin' a joint (it appeared). Good for her. 😄 I suppose many people wouldn't have approached him because of his somewhat 'gangster' appearance. Shit, he probably was a gangster. There were often many others at that park with a similar "look". I think there was only one shooting there in the 2 years I lived nearby. I, personally, never had any trouble there.
@Cadet Stimpy Yes, that's what I mean by a "controller", how do you call that in English (I'm well aware that "controller" is a poor Anglicization of the French word)?
I'm not taking the S-train, but an IC one (InterCity), Brussels-Ghent, a most comfortable train. And they speak Dutch, like JW and sometimes, your notification page on Solitaire Times.
@Zerbique We'd call them a conductor. Conductors also wave a baton in front of an orchestra to help them keep the correct tempo. Conductors (usually metal) also 'help carry/move' electricity from one place to another. Regarding batons, they're also twirled-around and thrown into the air by certain members of a Marching Band. Police use 'em too, but not generally for entertainment. Fuckin' English. 😄
P.S. Glad your Commuter Train is comfy. Some trains aren't that comfy. I wanna ride on a Bullet Train someday. We don't have 'em in the U.S.
Launch date: April 18.
