Zerbique and I were tricked into thinking we got everything covered this week but we ended up missing not one, not two, but three notable game launches. Z is beating himself up, and I'm trying to save whatever can be saved in this brief overview.
After The Empire: A 1-4 players worker placement and resource management game in which you are trying to protect your medieval castle from the assault of invaders. You can play it solo only if you choose the Noble pledge, or if you add the solo mode expansion to your pledge. The project will run for another 19 days. Link to the campaign (Gamefound).
Keyper at Sea: A 1-4 players expansion for the worker placement game Keyper. Instead of developing your village, in the expansion you will be able to sell the fish you caught at the fish market and fairs. David Turczi is the solo mode designer, and his ruleset applies to both the base game and the Shallow Waters part of the expansion. The campaign will run for 17 more days.
It's a Wonderful Kingdom: A 1-2 players sequel to the card drafting and engine building game It's a Wonderful World. Your goal is to restore yourself to the throne. The game comes with solo scenarios, and the campaign will run for another 12 days.
I'm all in on "It's A Wonderful Kingdom".....! I got the big box "Heritage" edition of IAWW and it's one of my top 10 games, this looks even better!
OMG I wish I could afford to pledge for After the Empire. That is completely up my alley! I'm going to have to wait and hope to get a retail copy someday
Whoa! After the Empire looks like a whopper, that many of us might have to play on the floor. Half the components look as if they'd be 3ft/0.9m away from ya. 😮
That Wonderful Kingdom card is nice lookin', IMHO.
