Heroes of the Shire is a 1-6 players tactical combat game set in a Fantasy universe, and the campaign is live on KS until December 6.

The big bow features 4 scenarios, each revolving around a given element, to which 3 different bosses are associated (for a total of 12). You will move around a modular map, roll dice, cast spells, relying on a large roaster of heroes. You can play solo two-handed right out of the box or play true solo with a dedicated add-on that costs an additional £10. This add-on introduces cards to buff up your hero, and allies to help you out.

Each "biome" also comes with "mob" monsters to level up until you face the boss. You will also be able to grab plenty of loot along the way.

The box features loads of tokens if you like them. These tokens are mostly used to track conditions. They are placed on a grid and decay with every round until they disappear.

The handful of BGG reviewers really liked this one. So many games - so little money. Z, like you said recently, there are too many new games comin' out, and a lot of them look nice, so are very tempting, but do we need a new game every f**king day? I need to win the lottery to keep-up with Kickstarter releases. 😄
