Hannibal's Revenge is now available in the P500 pre-order system of GMT.
The game is soloable, and features a deck-building-driven area control mechanics. The story is set in 219 B.C., a year prior to the onset of the Second Punic War, that saw Hannibal crossing the Alps with an army of elephants. The game naturally allows you to replay this famous feat, and to crush Rome once and for all. Combats are driven by card play (you choose one of your cards ranging from strength 1-13, some with special effects) supplemented by a dice roll.
More details are given on the dedicated GMT page.
Thanks! It looks interesting enough to keep an eye out for articles and videos once it's published. The P500 system is not really interesting for me once shipping costs are added, but there are a few shops here that sell GMT games.
This was the game I was hoping to read about when I saw the article title.
That looks really nice. I put an order in for The Barracks Emperors (on P500) by Wray Ferrell and Brad Johnson, the same designers of Time of Crisis.
