Only two days since the previous post, and there is already plenty of new titles to add (yes, this is a bit crazy).
Let's start with Tides, the next Button Shy game. I was thinking we hadn't seen one popping up on KS in a while... Based on the timeline of their previous releases, the game popping up on BGG might be indicative of a launch happening very soon -next Tuesday is a possibility.
If you like pen-and-paper solo RPG, D100 Dungeon will receive an expansion, World Builder. You'll still need the core rules though. It turns the original title into a "sandbox game". Not sure what it means!
Announced as a future Kickstarter, Hunting the Tiger of Kai seems to be a dice-based skirmish game set in medieval Japan (1561). There is leveling up of your character as you kill more enemies, but they also get stronger, so that may be nice.
Apparently launching on KS on August 3rd, Cartouche is a game about drafting tiles and then laying them to score the most points. You play as an archaeologist investigating Ancient Egypt murals.
From Blacklist games (but not designed by the Sadler brothers) comes a Naruto board game, Boruto, in which you must protect a village from dangerous and nasty villains.
Next one, Power Plants, by the publisher of Creature Comforts, in which you lay tile to build a garden of magic plants. Each time you lay a tile, you activate either its own power, or the power of an adjacent tile.
The last two ones were already featured in the BGG News, so I'll be brief: Dune Imperium is receiving an expansion, Rise of Ix (retail release), and the publisher has also announced a tile-laying game set in an animalistic Wild West, Wild Tiled West, by the same designer as Dune Imperium and the Clank series (I guess it will also be a retail release).
Dune: Rise of Ix is an instabuy for me. I have to get around to posting why I loved the base game so much. Actually, I still have to wait and see what the expansion adds to solo play.
