These are solo games that recently got added to the BGG database. Very little is known about these games... some may be future KS, some may be upcoming retail releases, some may never get published. But maybe there are a few things that will spark your interest in this list!
I'll start by catching up with a game that popped up a while ago, Wonder Book. It's a Fantasy Adventure game that plays with miniatures on a pop-up book.
Next, some news from Board&Dice and the T-line of games: an expansion for Tekehenu, Time of Seth, with Turczi behind the solo mode as usual, and a digital Challenge Book for Teotihuacan (actually, there are two of them).
Two solo games from AMIGO (so we may expect these to go straight to retail): Zauberberg, succinctly described as a "children's game" (age 5+), and Tulpenfieber, a dice game from Uwe Rosenberg.
An intriguing tarot-based puzzle/deduction game, called The Light in the Mist, should make an appearance on Kickstarter later on.
The next game from Gabe Barrett (designer of the Hunted line of games, among others) is RoboMon, an open-world and story-driven robot combat game. Also planned to launch on Kickstarter at some point.
We have then Zefiria, a Fantasy puzzle from the designers of Space Lunch (one of the four games in the Vasel's beloved Matchbox Collection), from an Italian publisher (English not guaranteed).
I'll end with two PnPs, the first one being a solitaire game featuring the ascension of the Mount Everest in 1953, The Highest Adventure, the second being a fan-made travel-size version of Helionox, made with the copyright's holders permission.
That's the end of this little blurb of news!
I found Tulpenfieber at a very low price and grabbed it. We'll see how it goes. It's small enough to get this right even though I'm absolutely not into the theme.
I usually enjoy the "lesser" Uwe (Sagani and Fairy Trails stand out).
The Light in the Mist will launch on KS on September 14 and the 'subscribe' page is up.
BGG doesn't have squat about most of these games, but thanks for the 'teasers', Z.
Tulpenfieber seems to have been made for JW: tulips, dice and Uwe. I'm also glad to see a new design by Mike Haught (The Highest Adventure). I had played the PnP he designed about the expedition in the Arctic.
