A short post this time, no much time has elapsed since the previous one.
Let's start with Regidice. Now that Regicide is all the rage (notwithstanding the fact that Athena spoke in length about it more than a year before Shut Up and Sit Down proclaimed it the best card game ever), Badger from Mars decided to launch a dice version (yup, they learned from the best Doktor out there). I guess it should be available on KS at some point, but till then, you can play it with your own dice.
Let's keep going with not so fresh news. The new "Cardinal Point" trilogy from Shem Phillips has been revealed, and goes south with Wayfarers of the South Tigris. The title sounds a bit convoluted, but at least the cover makes a better job at conveying the desert heat than the latest and far too cool Dune movie.
Another expected news, a new expansion for Tapestry is on its way: Arts and Architecture. A bit more of everything for the Stegmaier Civ-game.
Now I'm running out of pretty pictures already but I still have a few games to mention...
Let's start with Experior Protales. Weird title, and chances are the game will never exist. It's a deck-building and dice management game set in a Cyberpunk/Dark Fantasy universe. I grant them it's an intriguing premise.
Now if you want an Euro-game with minis, there is no better theme than the Terracotta Army, an upcoming release from Board&Dice. I don't know how close it will be to Xi'an.
Something that got me excited despite its terrible name, World Stitchers. The game is from Pepijn van Loom, designer of Heroes of Tenefyr, hence my interest. It's basically a tile-laying game in which you build your own world, as an animal spirit. I like playing as an animal spirit.
Finally, I usually don't do wargames, but this one had a picture and I had very little to display anyway. So here come the Eagles over Europe and its lot of raging dogfights on giant maps. It's a full co-op game so solo mode should not feel tacked on.
Tapestry is on my Christmas list for sure! They actually have it on sale on their website, but I'm trying to resist being so close to Christmas. Then, the two expansions I'm sure will be on my radar!
