Publisher Devir Games has entered three new soloable games in the BGG database:
- Moctezuma, a 1-5 players hand management game taking place in Mexico at the onset of the Spanish Invasion, in which can call forth the help of the gods to drive the invaders off their land.

- Mazescape Labyrinthos and Mazescape Ariadne, two related games that only play solo, in which you explore a succession of maps (it's apparently a game in the Micro Macro: Crime City game, in the sense that to fulfill the game, you need nothing but successfully staring at a map). Your ultimate goal is to find the Impossible Triangle, but you can also fulfill a variety of secondary goals if you thoroughly explore the maps.

Ah yes. I think you have to trace a line without lifting your pencil or something. I would need to erase and restart 100 times. Not for me.
Argh! Labyrinthos looked so cool but... you have to write on stuff!!!
I'll have to pass. I just can't do it.
I'll almost certainly get Mazescape. I love, love, love mazes.
It also reminds me of the highly enjoyable exploratory part of Hyper Light Drifter which is one of the last video games I played (too bad the game was marred by impossible boss fights you need to restart a hundred times to "git gud", just to satisfy the new Dark Souls cravings of the crowd). Now I just don't have time to play video games anymore.
Mildly intrigued. 🙂
