OK I start to find suspicious that you play so many games that are waiting for me to try them in my basement. Did you make a copy of my padlock keys or what? Did you bribe JW into getting you my address?
Or do we just have very, very similar tastes in board gaming?
Both games look gorgeous by the way. It makes me glad to know I have secured a copy of both! (Inuit I jumped on it as soon as it got released.)
Aw, I suck at scaling things, JW. I can't even pick a favorite color. In alphabetical order, I like blue, green, and purple, but I could never scale them. I know, I'm friggin' lame. I can't even pick a favorite food, either. I like so many. [Insert GIF of Homer Simpson drooling over donuts here].
My GP has so many games, that when she says, "Whadda ya wanna play next?", and I'm lookin' around at several hundred games, it overwhelms me. LOL! I like scores of 'em and nothing usually 'jumps-out', so I'm rendered dumbfounded (one of my normal states of mind, incidentally).
But, in a feeble attempt to answer your question, JW, ah..., above 2.5 . Maybe something that would be more useful is I feel they were "worth the money".
Among other ways, I sorta scale game play with goin' to the movies. Goin' to the movies costs, say $10/€8.3/C$12 (cheaper for me actually, 'cause I get Senior pricing 🙂). So, if I play an enjoyable game 5 times, I've attained $10 worth of entertainment 5 separate times. There's 50 bucks worth of entertainment. I know, it's hokey, but it helps me justify my "gamin' budget". 😄
In some ways, owning a game is all about its value, to you. Shit, sometimes just lookin' at your collection might give ya a little feeling of [crap, I need a good word here, but it's escaping me] comfort (Ya, I'll go with comfort). Yes, look at all the different boxes, that when opened and deployed, will supply me with some fun.
Sorry for the verboseness (Verboseness? I don't think I've ever used that word before). Sorry for bein' silly. 😅

And? Review? You liked them, sure, but on a scale of 1-5?
