So, it's madness. Lots of new crowdfunding campaigns last week, and every single one had a solo mode. Often without telling too much about it, so a lot of time was spent on research. Virtual Essen floods us with upcoming retail games. And it all comes down to Athena.
As you may know if you've read our website a little longer, I suffer from depression. It got worse when the lockdown started in March and basically it went downhill ever since. So I couldn't write that much anymore. Since two months I'm trying medication, but unfortunately I have trouble adjusting to them.
As you will understand, there are too many releases for Athena to keep up. The quantity of posts on Solitaire Times will suffer a little longer, for which I'd like to apologise.
But, in the immortal words of Tom Hanks:
That's exactly what it feels like, yes!
Isn't there a cartoon/comic with a sushi tray feeding a good willing patron directly on the mouth, and which suddenly starts to accelerate and send more and more food up to the point that the patron can't swallow anymore and dies of choking? That's how I picture KS these days.
To be honest, after writing 10 KS news posts last Saturday, I was on the verge of nervous breakdown and hating Kickstarter with a passion. 😄
If you read between the lines, you can see solitairetimes is asking us for more user generated content.
Time to expand the scope of this site beyond solo games to our other hobbies. Now's the time to write about your train set and holiday teddy bear collections.
i really like what you write here.
All good JW. If you wouldn't have said anything, I wouldn't have noticed. :) You both do an awesome job with this site.
You'll be back, and we'll be there!
