Pairing Games with Music

There's nothing like a nice craft beer, and pairing it with some cheeses and/or meats. Come to think of it, I enjoy pairing scotch, whiskey and wine with different foods as well... Huh... 🤣

I'm curious how many Solitaire Times readers tend to pair their games with music?? 😎🎧🎼

I admit, I haven't really done this a whole lot. I find the silence and the sound of the various game components as you play very relaxing. However, since I don't have a dedicated games room some days there's things going on around me. This is fine because it's my wife and daughters, but I'd prefer to just be immersed in my game.

I think I need to do some music-game pairing more often. It just feels right when you find a pairing that works, ya know? Like a beautiful glass of Lagavulin paired with old cheese / salty meats...

For example:

... I've played solo Wingspan with nature and bird sounds playing on my tablet and I gotta say, it was really nice!

... Today I played Scythe with the Skyrim soundtrack on. I figured my go-to was that or Lord of the Rings soundtrack. Something epic of course. 😃

I like finding the right music to pair with the right game. (I feel like ROTNS could also go with Skyrim or LOTR soundtracks)

Anyone else doing this when they play solo? 😎
