It's been a while! Possibly my own biggest stretch of not visiting my favourite place online. I saw JW's comment on a post about it being quiet on here due to life... That's about right good sir. 😝 The word I'll use for the start of my 2024 to describe the weeks/months would be "heavy".
I am happy to report that although my gaming hobby hasn't been as often as I'd like, I'm still fitting some plays in amongst busy weeks and/or stress. My February gaming dropped by half compared to January for example. Here are the games that made their way to the table last month:
-Ark Nova
-Viticulture
-Blackout Hong Kong
-Expeditions
-Root
-The Gallerist
-Terraforming Mars
-Viscounts of the West Kingdom
-Everdell
-Forbidden Island*
*I picked this game up for $7 from the local thrift store and it was missing a few components. 🙄 I believe I posted about that here? ... Anyway, I messaged the company in the early new year and they sent me the missing components no problem, so it was nice to give it a couple plays. My family will enjoy it.
I hope all are healthy and enjoying your own gaming at your table! Cheers! 😀
Good to see ya back, Derek. $7 for Forbidden Island? So, the Bargain Ninja is back as well! 😄
Nice to read from you Derek!
I see your gaming time has been well spent!
On my side I almost only played with my son in the past 3 months but we managed to play the "Arcade Grand Chelem": Space Invaders, Tetris, Pacman, and Snake. Yes, I own the board game version for all of them... And two are even soloable!
Forbidden Island is surprisingly good multihanded solo when you play at one of the highest difficulty levels, by the way.
No Frostpunk? Wait. No Scythe???
