My first purchased game organizers are built and "installed" into their respective boxes!!
I ended up with two different kinds;
-An E-Raptor insert (which was the cause of the purchase due to the $9.99CDN sale price) for A Game of Thrones.
-A folded space insert for Brass Birmingham
Both games are heavy in components and this will definitely help with more efficient setup time for sure! 🙂
First the E-Raptor insert pros and cons in my opinion:
Pros:
-Simple to build once you figured it out
-Place for everything
-Pretty heavy duty
-Sale price was right
Cons:
-Heavier than the folded space insert (adding overall weight to the box)
-Didn't quite fit in as nicely as I'd like
-No instructions.
-The look of it is a bit 'meh'
-Regular price of $37 CDN is a bit much for me
Next, the folded space insert pros and cons in my opinion:
Pros:
-Light weight
-I like the aesthetic more than the e-raptor
-Fits perfectly into the game box
-Comes with instructions, including which trays are meant to house which components
-Easier to build than you think
-Turns out more solid than you think
-Often Folded Space inserts are reasonably priced I feel
Cons:
-It's intimidating at first.
-You need to "craft it" with glue (that can get messy 😏)
-Takes more time to build
I think between the two inserts, I'm definitely most happiest with the Folded Space insert for Brass Birmingham. Granted, both inserts did what I wanted/needed them to, I find the extra time spent to build a folded space insert is worth the price and outcome. 😀
Lookin' nice, Derek! 😍
I prefer the ones by e-Raptor because they don't need any glue and you can pretty much "build" them however clumsy you are. Also I don't like the grey colour of Folded Space. You can't beat their price though. e-Raptor has a few sales during the year. As they are located in the EU, I can often buy what I want for an acceptable price, if I just wait.
