I'm a huge superhero guy, but the art in the Marvel game turns me off a bit. It's not bad by any means, it's just not my style for reasons I can't even figure out.
Anyway - How was Mystic Market and Medieval Academy? They look enticing.
Mystic Market has an interesting "Supply Shift" mechanism, where the 'Ingredient Vials' (as seen below) are moved around depending on the occasional Supply Shift Card you draw. This changes the values of the Ingredient Cards. If you're clever enough, you can apply a timely shift that would increase/decrease the value of a set you're ready to play/buy. I liked the game. Here's a Solo Mode a BGG User developed.
MM is currently $20/€16.5/C$24 on Amazon. Box is about 9.25"x6.3"x2" / 23.5cm x 16cm x 5.1cm.
Medieval Academy has some Card Drafting, among other mechanisms. I'd say it's a lighter, family level game, although those 7 boards (as seen at the bottom of my original Post) are dual-sided to increase the difficulty level, as well as adding to the replayability. The art is colorful and cartoony. Thumbs-Up from me.
@Derek Arsenault I'm gamin' with my GP today. I'll try and post today's games in a more timely manner. 😀 She probably gets at least one new game per week, so she supplies me with a seemingly endless amount of new games, on top of the ones I get for myself.
Z, here's a picture I took today (Wed) of some more of the cards (don't remember what the type of card was, as there is a 2nd type in the game, who's name I don't remember, either) from Journey of the Emperor (there are 45 of this type of card, and the background is different on every one of them):

Ah ah! You know me so well!
I was scrolling through the pictures, then I stopped on the Emperor's board, thinking "Woow! This is pretty!". And then I saw your remark!
You really try out many, many games, a lot of them I have never heard about. I really like these posts!
