I was very excited a couple days ago to notice that another game on my wishlist had come to Board Game Arena: The Lost Ruins of Arnak. Last time this happened, it was Res Arcana ... which now sits on my shelf in my collection. 😊
I've played 3-games now on BGA and I really enjoy it. It comes across as confusing but it's absolutely not. I'll compare it to Caverna: The Cave Farmers only in the sense of how many options you have each turn! I love that. There are so many ways you can go about things in this game. Yet it's simplistic in regards to mechanics and rules. On BGG it has a weight rating of 2.76/5 which I'd say is definitely accurate.
I'm just curious if anyone here has had the experience with it's solo mode? It's definitely moved up my wishlist and, as with many of my games, I'm sure solo will be the predominant means of play for me. 😎
Just curious.
I've played it, but not Solo. I think it's a fun game. Maybe my Gamin' Pal would loan it to me. She seems to like me (how'd that happen?), so she might. If that materializes, I'll 'report in' after a few Solo plays.
