JW and I have the pleasure of assigning honorary badges to four distinguished members of our website. It's time for the very first Solitaire Times One-of-a-kind Awards.
Frank, Zerbique, Derek and Mike have been actively contributing with their posts and comments on an almost daily basis. We therefore appoint them the following honorary titles:
Frank: Wizard of Wit
Zerbique: Ruler of Rulebooks
Derek: Scythe Expert
Mike: Master Enquirer
From now on, these titles will appear as badges under their profiles in the Members Area. We would have preferred them to show when they comment and post too, but Wix doesn't provide that. We have filed a complaint.
This doesn't mean, of course, that we don't appreciate our less vocal readers. There's nothing wrong with lurking or contributing on a non-regular basis. However, we felt obliged to thank these four men for taking the time to react to our posts, and showing their support in a visible way.
We hope to award more badges in the coming year.
Many thanks to all our readers!
I'm somebody now! Things are gonna start happening!
Seriously though, this is the best site and I'm honored for such recognition. When I, rarely, post on other websites I usually end up regretting trying to communicate with other human beings. But everyone here is cool and actually has a sense of humor.

Wow! I do feel honored indeed! If I were to host a reality show based on people having to decide which games to back Kickstarter, my catchphrase would indeed be "Before you pledge... read the rulebook!"
And just like the others the first thought that crossed my mid was: but now Athena and JW really need a badge as well!!!
My most numerous thanks, for this badge, for this site, and for bringing a different voice in this board gaming world -maybe less enthusiastic than others, but oh so more kind, authentic and agreeable.
Many thanks to both of you. Please have some champagne, and don't forget to visit the buffet for our delicious canapés. 🍸🍤
Wow! LOL! Thanks muchly! This is the first award I've received in 50 years. The only other one was in High School when I was voted the most likey to fail and end-up in prison.
I believe I do have a inquiring mind, though. Sometimes it works against me, however. Such as when I'm [often] asking my girlfriend, "What did ya do that for?", or "Why'd you do it that way?" I really need to strike those from my line of questioning, at least with her, anyway.
Way back, due to my relentless search for true, I used to subscribe to this.
Anyway, I second Derek's proposal of badges for our 2 favorite purveyors of useful information. Hip-Hip-Hooray to Athena and JW, who've been helping me keep my mind functioning, and even puttin' a smile on my face.
Thank you both so much!
This is an awesome surprise at the end of a strange year. Both of you have helped myself and many others I'm sure, have a little bit of normal added into each of our days with your posts, info and dedication. I think a badge should be added to both of your profile's as well!
Thanks again. This is a nice fun surprise. I'm honored. :)
Shouldn't that be "invisible way", thanks to Wix? But anyway, congrats to our first four badge wearers. Well deserved.
